Being in the middle of the Ghanzi block, Lions are always dealt with before reaching us.
All other Kalahari predators are present at times but are generally very wary of humans.
Snakes, Spiders, etc are as common here as throughout Botswana, but are rarely encountered and with a liitle care should not be a cause for concern.
Airfield filling Station (on the main road through Ghanzi), generally has fuel.
We do however stress that due to the large distances between towns travellers should fill up their tanks at every opportunity as dry fuel stations do occur
